1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and utilizing TrueUnderwrite ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our tools.

2. Operational Estimates & No Guarantee of Profitability

TrueUnderwrite provides mathematical tools to estimate freight operating costs, break-even rates, trip profitability, and related financing expenses based on the information you provide. All calculations are theoretical models and planning estimates intended solely for educational and scenario analysis.

TrueUnderwrite does not guarantee that any load, rate, lane, or vehicle operation will achieve the financial results, break-even rates, or profit margins estimated by the tools. Actual commercial freight outcomes depend on dynamic operational variables beyond the scope of any calculator, including but not limited to diesel fuel price spikes, unplanned mechanical breakdowns, uncompensated detention delays, shipper or broker payment defaults, route diversions, adverse weather, and local tax liabilities. Operators assume full, independent responsibility for all rate negotiations and freight contracting decisions.

3. Non-Regulatory & Non-Fiduciary Status

TrueUnderwrite is an independent software tool. It is not an accredited bank, lender, freight brokerage, insurance underwriter, certified public accountant, or governmental regulatory body (such as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration or U.S. Department of Transportation). Reports and rate sheets generated by the platform are private operator worksheets and do not constitute certified financial statements, formal loan underwriting approvals, or regulatory compliance certificates.

4. Local Device Execution & Link Sharing Discretion

Calculations execute locally within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not store, archive, or review user financial inputs on our servers. When you use features that serialize calculation inputs into shareable URLs, those inputs are encoded into the URL query parameters. Sharing or bookmarking such links is done at your sole discretion, and recipients will have visibility into the parameters contained within those URLs.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TrueUnderwrite, its developers, and contributors disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any calculation, model, or content provided on this Platform. In no event shall TrueUnderwrite be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, equipment downtime, or commercial contract disputes arising out of the use of or inability to use this Platform.
