1. Your Numbers Stay on Your Device
TrueUnderwrite has no backend server. Every calculation — your rates, costs, mileage, and revenue figures — runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript. We do not see, receive, or store any figure you enter into a calculator, because there is no server on our end for it to travel to.
2. Shareable Links Carry Your Numbers
Some calculators let you copy a link to bookmark or share your result. That link encodes the figures you entered directly into its URL. Anyone you send it to can see those figures, and the link may be saved in your own browser history. Don't share a calculator link if you don't want its contents seen by the recipient.
3. Analytics
We use a cookie-free analytics service to see aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited and how fast they load. This method doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and cannot see anything you type into a calculator. It only counts anonymous page views.
4. No Advertising Trackers
We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or sell any data to third parties — because we don't collect any data to sell in the first place.
5. Infrastructure
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure processes standard connection information (such as IP address) needed to deliver the page to your browser. This is routine web delivery, separate from — and unrelated to — the calculator inputs described above.
6. Children's Privacy
TrueUnderwrite is a professional tool intended for commercial vehicle operators and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top.
